Litecoin Gains Ground Due to Stagnation of Leading Cryptocurrencies

Most of the top digital currencies stagnated last week. BTC volatility remains at a four-year low due to the weak activity of traders. There was no Christmas rally in 2022 as capital mostly exited risky assets following the US Federal Reserve’s rate hike.
However, Litecoin, which ranks 7th on CoinMarketCap, was able to gain ground last week. Its market capitalization has increased by more than 7% to $5.785 billion in just 7 days.
Yesterday, the price of the altcoin broke above $70, but the asset could not cope with the resistance and fell to $68.88 last night. The daily trading volume of the cryptocurrency has increased by more than 180% to $437.7 million over the weekend.
