Symbiosis Finance Rolls Out 2nd Version of its Mainnet

Multi-chain liquidity protocol Symbiosis Finance has just released of the second version of its mainnet.

According to the project developers, the second version of the protocol will overcome the limitations of Symbiosis v1, in particular those associated with stablecoin liquidity pools.

They have explained:

“In v1, each network pair needs one liquidity pool to conduct a direct exchange. The distribution of liquidity between different pools in the first version of the protocol caused capital inefficiency and a limit on the number of supported networks.”

As part of the update, one of the networks, Boba BNB L2, became a service or service network, which has allowed to solve the previously-mentioned problems.

The new version of the protocol only supports one pool for cross-chain operations between networks. When users want to add a new network to the protocol, they need to add a different type of sToken to an existing pool.
