Crypto Lending Platform Ledn Says it Was Involved in Transactions with Alameda Research
Mauricio Di Bartolomeo, co-founder of Canadian crypto lending platform Ledn, has said that the company was trading with Alameda Research, an affiliate of FTX.
According to him, Ledn fired a commercial director and a senior data engineer as part of a staff optimization. He has stressed that over the past year the team has doubled, which has increased the potential for the development of retail lending.
The company has previously reported no transactions with Genesis Global Capital, which, according to media reports, is close to bankruptcy. The latter was Ledn’s main partner, but the firm diversified its pool of lenders.
Ledn approached struggling competitor BlockFi with a deal offer in July this year.
