El Salvador Announces the Creation of a National Bitcoin Office

The Government of El Salvador has just opened the National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC). According to the LinkedIn post, the office will oversee all local projects related to BTC.
The purpose of the new department is to develop, analyze, plan and coordinate programs and projects related to bitcoin for the economic development of the country.
The ONBTC will take over the interaction with the media, international Bitcoin companies and those wishing to invest in El Salvador or meet with President Nayib Bukele on the integration of Bitcoin.
All government agencies are required to assist the National Bitcoin Office in the performance of its functions.
