L’Oréal and Meta Plan to Launch an Accelerator for Web3-based Startups

Meta has teamed up with cosmetics brand L’Oréal to launch an accelerator program for Metaverse startups.
The French business school HEC has also participated in the initiative.
The program will support at least five projects that specialize in 3D production, AR, VR, mixed reality, avatar creation, tokenomics as well as other areas related to the metaverse and Web3.
Startups will reportedly not be directly related to the beauty industry. The accelerator will be located at the Meta squares in the Station F start-up campus in Paris.
Projects will be able to apply for participation from 20 November. In December, a jury of representatives of the founders of the initiative will select the participants.
