Uzbekistan Introduces Monthly Fees for Crypto-related Companies

The authorities of Uzbekistan have obliged licensed cryptocurrency companies to pay monthly fees through a law that has been registered with the Ministry of Justice of the country and that has come into force immediately.
We should note that the fees vary depending on the categories of service providers: cryptocurrency exchanges must pay $11,000 per month, mining pools $2,750, cryptocurrency stores $550 and custodial services $135.
The monthly fee for individual miners will be $275.
According to the document:
“Failure to pay the fee within one month is grounds for suspension of the license. If the company fails to pay the monthly fee twice within a year, the license may be canceled.”
