The Seoul Southern District Prosecutor’s Office has asked the local Foreign Ministry to revoke the passports of five people, including Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon.

According to local media, in its request, the Office has referred to the Passport Law, which imposes restrictions on the issuance of certifying documents to a person in respect of whom an arrest warrant has been issued.

The Foreign Ministry of the country is also expected to revoke previously issued passports from the accused.

Due to the fact that it can take up to a month for passports to be cancelled, the media has speculated that the authorities would continue to pressure Kwon to return him to South Korea.
