British Association Urges to Allow Funds Based on Digital Tokens
The Investment Association, which represents the interests of British asset managers, has proposed the approval of token-based funds, Financial Times has reported.
According to the organization, its implementation will bring significant savings for investors and will simplify the existing procedures for buying and selling mutual funds.
The Investment Association hopes to establish a task force to study how blockchain technology can accelerate the creation of new products and services.
These kind of blockchain funds may appear by the end of the second quarter of next year if the FCA approves their appearance.
