MetaMask Devs Launch a Bounty Program
The team of non-custodial crypto wallet MetaMask has launched in partnership with HackerOne an initiative to reward for finding vulnerabilities in the application.
According to the statement shared by the company, the bounty program is a continuation of the developers’ efforts to ensure “maximum user safety”. The initiative was launched following the start of MetaMask’s cooperation with the Asset Reality team. The solution helps to recover stolen assets.
According to the developers:
“HackerOne is a bug-finding platform that uses a deep network of cybersecurity researchers and testers to fix and fix bugs of any size on the Internet.”
Users who discover a potential vulnerability can now submit a report through HackerOne. MetaMask has warned it might take some time to process the message and perform the necessary procedures.
