Brazil’s Largest Broker Intends to Release a Crypto Exchange Backed by Nasdaq

Brazil’s largest broker XP Inc will launch the XTAGE digital asset trading platform in partnership with Nasdaq next month.

According to the announcement, 3.5 million XP customers will have direct access to the site through the application.

Roland Chai, executive vice president of Nasdaq, has said:

“Designed with market expectations and current and future regulatory frameworks in mind, Nasdaq’s infrastructure technology will enable XP to scale XTAGE and embrace new asset classes.”

In December, B3, the largest stock exchange in Latin America, announced its entry into the crypto market this year. The platform is considering launching a series of products, including ETFs, OTC and custody services.
