Wirex Stops Offering Services to Russian Citizens
British processing service Wirex blocked access to its products to Russian citizens on February 25, according to the statement shared by the company.
The company has condemned the military invasion of Ukraine and has supported actions to exclude the Russian Federation from the global financial services market. In addition, it has also called on the global community to donate cryptos and fiat to the Support Ukraine Now fund.
In mid-February, the service raised as much as $15 million in investments and opened vacancies for developers in Ukraine.
Major cryptocurrency exchanges have imposed restrictions on Russia users, including Kuna, WhiteBIT and CEX.io, Bithumb, Upbit, Coinone and Korbit.
