Mexican Billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego Recommends Buying Bitcoin and Hodling it
Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego, whose fortune amounts to $13.2 billion according to Forbes, has advised his Twitter followers to buy Bitcoin on the decline and accumulate the crypto.
Pliego has also recommended to forget about selling Bitcoin. According to him, those who listen to his recommendations will thank him later. He ha said:
“Keep buying when the price is low, just accumulate Bitcoin and forget about selling.”
On February 22, for the first time since the beginning of the month, the price of Bitcoin fell to $36,300. In January, the value of the asset fell to $32,900 for the first time since July 2021. In November last year, Bitcoin updated its historical high above $69,000. Since then, it has fallen by 45%.
At the end of 2021, Pliego advised his Twitter followers to buy Bitcoin and phase out cash. According to the billionaire, at the moment, central banks are printing money “like never before.”
